Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has undergone surgery for pancreatic cancer, apparently at an early stage. The court said the 75-year-old Ginsburg had the surgery Thursday at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She will remain in the hospital for seven to 10 days, said her surgeon. And thus with a quiet press release do we see the beginning of the most important part of the Obama legacy- preserving the voice of reason on the supreme court by appointing young, smart judges who are not guided by ridiculous principles like "original intent" when interpreting the constitution.

Ginsberg. Stevens. Souter. Obama will get to replace them all with young, vibrant judges. And then just one more to restore a permanent dose of sanity to the decisions to court renders.
