President Obama nominates Merrick Garland to Supreme Court
The irony is that he is more conservative than Justice Scalia on criminal justice issues. Even the President is promoting his law and order background:

Ed Newman a close second. Damn...Shula didn't have the juice to get him over the top.
Thank goodness. I was worried that white male prosecutors are being under represented on the federal bench.
Separated at birth: Merrick Garland and Mike Lupica.
But they will look a gift horse in the mouth and say no to him, and the President looks good.
Those pesky technicalities.
Wasn't our President a con law professor?
If my con-law professors were any guide, they all seem to struggle with many constitutional concepts.
