The investiture was quite moving. Lots of good personal anecdotes about Judge Rosenbaum the person and young lawyer. Judge Stanley Marcus, for whom Judge Rosenbaum once clerked, brought the house down with his jokes. He has a future in the Borscht Belt should he ever give up his day job. The entire event was very well done, and it is easy to see why Judge Rosenbaum will be (and already has been) a monumental addition to the Southern District bench. It was fun to be a part of this event.
