11th Circuit Judge Dubina has taken senior status

It became official on his birthday October 26.  (h/t Glenn Sugameli).

President Obama now has another seat to fill in the 11th.  Robin Rosenbaum is being vetted for the recently vacated seat by Judge Barkett.

The Court has a number of open seats on the 11th right now and has a chance to really reshape the Court.  Let's see what happens.

Good luck with Congress - no new appointments until 2014, and only if the republicans get trounced.

This court has recently become a majority democrat-appointed court and now with 4 vacancies it could become the most democratic in the nation. Even more liberal than the 9th circuit depending on the type of nominees Obama chooses to nominate. It's only going to have 3 republican appointed judges.....
