Wow, read this order

It's short but very powerful.  I don't want to ruin it, but it ends this way:

With a judicial finger in the constitutional dike,
It is so ORDERED.

I love your blog and without knowing more I think the five year old should have been released. But this Order is horrible. Write the Order based on the immigration statutes and grant the kid release finding he’s neither a danger to the community nor a risk of flight. Instead this I’m smarter than everyone and here’s my speech on the Senate floor is not what a federal judge should be doing.

@5:04 PM yes, agreed. Amazed that some folks are shocked, shocked, to see purported injustice in our just-us system. As for the "Great Writ" of habeas corpus cited by Judge Biery, the writ (or more precisely, the petition for the writ) is not that well received in the Middle District of Florida or the U.S. Eleventh Circuit, take notice please:

U.S. District Judge Wendy W. Berger, USDC, MDFL, Case No. 5:21-cv-463
U.S. District Judge Wendy W. Berger, USDC, MDFL, Case No. 5:22-cv-13
U.S. District Judge Roy B. Dalton, Jr., USDC, MDFL, 5:22-cv-37
U.S. Circuit Judge Robin S. Rosenbaum, CA11, Appeal No. 21-13333
U.S. Circuit Judge Britt C. Grant, CA11, Appeal No. 21-13333

Reminds me of the 11th when they start their opinions trashing your criminal client and what he did. Know it isn’t going to turn out well.

But see Rivero v Mina, Case No. 6:26-cv-66-RBD-NWH (MDFL Jan. 26, 2026) - tried to attach it to another post here but not sure it took… “In this country we don’t enforce the law by breaking the law.”

Powerful? Powerfully stupid. Judge Fred lost it years ago.

I could not disagree more with these comments. The order is a tour de force, and it's tone is well deserved. Our executive branch is lawless and authoritarian .

How about telling the administration to stop violating individuals' rights, under the Constitution, left and right?! How about we do that before criticizing the judge's order?
