Judges should do more of this. A lot more of this. This shouldn't be news. It should be what happens.
Seriously, that’s how you feel? If you’re a lawyer, please seek other employment. And whatever you do, get some professional counseling. You’re not well and certainly would benefit from some type of vacation however brief.
When i was a prosecutor (another state), a defense attorney and prosecutor (both well respected) were arguing with each other in a combative and unprofessional manner. The judge held them both in contempt and sentenced them to a minimum of one hour in the jury room alone. They were ordered to resolve their differences and knock when they agreed to act in a professional manner but not before one hour expired. It was a story to be told and re-told at many a Friday night happy hour but it worked.
Ridiculous and an abuse of power.
