Rumpole's posts trying to stir pity for Elizabeth Holmes are a bunch of bullshit and lies. He would have us think Holmes is some pitiful destitute leper who has already been punished too much. When the truth is she's still enjoying the charmed life courtesy of her boy-toy "partner" and has scores of rich people and politicians writing letters on her behalf saying she didn't do anything wrong and promising to bankroll her again if they had the chance. She boasted that "pretty people" like her don't go to prison. She'll never pay a penny of restitution in her life because she can stay poor on paper while her boyfriend's family subsidizes her.
Implicit Bias....white women thieves don't get time, it hurts the folks like them on the bench!
