And let me be a proud dad for a minute and also post about my daughter Nicole, who has this op-ed in today's Sun-Sentinel. It's on climate change. The intro:
Protesting at last Friday’s global climate strike isn’t enough. Yes, it is amazing that you went. It is incredible that so many people care about the climate that they would miss their jobs, or an important school test, or anything else they may have had.
But if we do not continue to make our voices heard once the strike is over, all of it will be for nothing. Every day, we need to talk about solutions, lobby the government, and change easy habits that can help reduce our collective carbon footprint. When events happen in your community, go to them. When you can, spread awareness to your peers.
Because if the number of people showing up for the environment Sept. 20 showed up every day, we would not face this issue. We would have governments scrambling to keep up with the demands from young people, and old people, and everyone in between.

Congratulations on your daughter's op-ed. It is all about family, and all this other BS is just a distraction.
As for Luck, he's young, bright, and has momentum. While connections are usually the thing, he may just be the in the right place at the right time.

Where are all the Trumpists? I guess tax cuts, regulation rollbacks, and judges will make you want to ignore everything else.
Should all judicial confirmations cease until impeachment is resolved? Seems like all of his nominations are illegitimate given his lawlessness.

1) Trump has not been impeached.
2) Even if he had been, impeachment just means accused. He remains president until convicted by the Senate and removed from office by a 2/3 vote. If my math is right, that means all the democrats have to vote for impeachment PLUS 19 republicans (never going to happen).
3) Under 10:20's theory, Mike Pence should just be sworn in today without formal accusation or process of any kind against Trump.
You must work for the government and not know how to read. 10:20 say until impeachment is "resolved." Clearly 10:20 knows that Trump has not been impeached.
And let me get this straight, Moscow Mitch could hold up Garland because it was an election year but a President who is undergoing an impeachment inquiry can make lifetime appointments? Your hypocrisy is stunning. Not really stunning I guess because that is the GOP's main currency.

@1:14 you don't resolve something that doesn't exist. There is no impeachment right now, so there is no impeachment to resolve. Under your theory, no president would ever be able to get anything done so long as some a-hole somewhere was willing to bandy about the idea of impeachment - which looks like it will be the new normal now in an increasingly ugly and partisan political landscape.
I don't like Trump anymore than I like a bad case of hemorrhoids, but until further notice, he is the POTUS and there is nothing "illegitimate" about his appointments.

@12:54 - find a source, any source, that shows that the House has filed articles of impeachment. That's what impeachment is. You won't because the House hasn't. All that has happened is that House Democrats have begun and "impeachment inquiry;" which is akin to an investigation. Impeachment is akin to a formal charge - which has not happened. Even if it does, nothing changes. Perhaps you haven't heard, but the senate needs to convict after articles of impeachment are filed by a 2/3 vote. Until then, there is nothing "illegitimate" about the legally elected POTUS's action.
You people are why Trump was elected. Your hysteria makes you easy targets for nonsense.
