Judge Moreno moving on up...

Although Judge Moreno will be stepping down as Chief Judge this summer (and handing the baton over to Judge Moore), he will still be very active for the Circuit. The Circuit and District judges of the Eleventh Circuit have just elected Judge Moreno to be the next district judge member of the Judicial Conference of the United States from the 11th Circuit.

Congratulations to Judge Moreno.

Excellent question Kim Fro.
actually, in the family division of the US district court in Miami Judge Moreno is known as one of the fairest judges. To answer your question, he is not biased against fathers. Since the US District court allows you to select your judge in all family matters, he is a popular selection for all litigants.
Thanks for reading. Home this helps.

He treats fathers okay, but God help you if you are a Cuban accused of Medicare fraud.

He gave my ex wife way too much alimony but then he did tell her to get off her fat ass and get a job. So in the end I guess I am satisfied.

Does this mean we'll be seeing more of Sr. Judge Goldberg from the Court of International Trade in New York City, presiding over criminal trials in Miami, which seems to most people like a great use of taxpayer money???
