Tough times

From AboveTheLaw (which has a new editor):

* It looks like 2008 will be the worst year for law firms since 2001. The American Lawyer says the "silver lining" is that firms can "winnow out unproductive lawyers and apply greater discipline to expense control." In other words: more layoffs, less perks. [American Lawyer]

* Law firms are not the only ones suffering. Florida courts will cut 250 positions by October 1. [Daily Business Review]

I'd change the "who" to "which" so it reads ("which has a new editor") because it otherwise seems weird. I'm sure there is some rule of English covering this, but really, who paid any attention in English class? Or Con Law for that matter, but that's a topic for another day.

Good thing Rumpy doesn't read my briefs.

Argh, Rumpy has a little too much salt in his briefs.

Whom is concerned with grammer and speling anyway.

Having just read the Review story on Judge Martin Colin, it is criminal.... How can this Judge get away with fixing cases for his buddies Henry Handler, john schutz, jon Root & Chriss Jetee?? Colin needs to be indicted! He has shamed the bench. Impeach COLIN NOW!!
