Is Davis out because he wouldn’t fire AUSAs who worked on Trump cases?

Davis fired prosecutors because he was told to do so by whom? And because they worked on Trump prosecutions?

"Great" maybe when you have 2 cases a year that have been cherrypicked for you by a supervisor kissing your butt and then you act tough....

O'Byrne has directed the office that he is THE U.S. Attorney. Not Acting or Interim.

Very active in the Federalist and is awarded this position after a few uneventful years as an AUSA a la Aileen Cannon?? Sounds all too familiar. He may have had a decent prior employment record, but a mere five years in the USAO?? Please!!

I tried a case against him.

He is fair, a gentleman, and very smart. I do not care that he is young (but really not that young), he is capable of doing a very good job. He is conservative; but so what? A ton of people who are in law enforcement are conservative. He is not some raging ideologue. If he is honest - and he is - he is somebody we want doing the job. Good for him, and I wish him luck.

    - a very liberal guy

Hayden is exceptional. He has the talent, drive and passion for prosecuting the worst criminals that prey on our society. Finally we have someone that has the drive, focus and energy to actually make a significant impact. If they were looking for someone to lead by example, they found a good one.

All of these generalized superlatives in support of this guy. What is his level of experience? He appears to have most definitely been groomed for this position and got it more through political connection and the backing of the Federalist Society. DEI appointment for a new protected class consisting of ultra conservative ideologues?? Give the guy a chance, but at least acknowledge that his qualifications, at least in experience, are pretty thin.
