2. A vibrant press is important. This article came out on Monday asking why an 11th Circuit case had been pending for 7 years. And shortly thereafter, the 11th issued its opinion.
3. KBJ is active to start our her tenure on SCOTUS. Check her out here:
Justice Jackson tells the Alabama solicitor general that the Framers of the 14th Amendment did NOT intend it to be “race neutral or race blind,” so taking race into account to protect minority voting rights is perfectly constitutional. Progressive originalism at work. pic.twitter.com/aCXAq2CnJu

How woke, we have given the new justice initials
ReplyDeleteWhy is that woke. I know on the right that's now a knee jerk response. Maybe turn Fox News off.
ReplyDeleteWell, one reason is that no other justice is assigned initials, so apparently the left wing has decided that she will share that distinction with the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg. And, why not, she has been on the Court for 15 minutes.
ReplyDeletePerhaps you spend too much time watching MSNBC and CNN, if it is still broadcasting.

12:03. Maybe because RBG and KJB use all three names, and nobody wants to say or type all of that.
ReplyDeleteBut, no, maybe it's "woke."
Or maybe all judges, like people, have initials and some lawyers, like people, use those initials to refer to them.
DeleteWow, partisans so blind they get heated about whether or not to use initials.
