Breaking — Sen. Rubio JNC announces interview schedule
It floors me that the 2 finalists for US Marshal are republicans with political associations with Rubio. However, the bigger story is how weak and non existent the democrat party is to not rally around candidates for all of these positions. They could have really made a stink how the last Obama nominations were treated. They were not even given hearings. Yet everyone just rolls over and plays dead. Florida is like living in Cuba. Its one party domination at every level. ***Ok off my soap box ****
Political affiliation aside, both candidates for US Marshal are absolute rockstars and the District will be well served with either one. Indeed both have held the post honorably and completely.
Can you remind us who the finalists were from the competing JNC?
ReplyDeleteSomeone should tell them how to spell Marshal.

ReplyDeleteThat list looks vaguely familiar, but I just can’t place it… http://sdfla.blogspot.com/2021/05/breaking-congressional-jnc-recommends-6.html?m=1

ReplyDelete@ 2:04 -- the competing/congressional JNC finalists for the judiciary were:
ReplyDeleteMichael Caruso
Miguel de la O
Samantha Feuer
Ayana Harris
Shaniek Maynard
Detra Shaw Wilder
Miesha Darrough and David Leibowitz were selected by Rubio's JNC.
The US Marshall nominees are the same.
Andres Rivero was selected by Rubio's JNC as a finalist for US Attorney. Arango, Hantman, and Lapointe were from the competing/congressional JNC.
the message is clear as to what's going to happen
