President Obama nominates Merrick Garland to Supreme Court

The irony is that he is more conservative than Justice Scalia on criminal justice issues.  Even the President is promoting his law and order background:
The Republicans would be silly to say no to him.

    Thank goodness. I was worried that white male prosecutors are being under represented on the federal bench.

    If my con-law professors were any guide, they all seem to struggle with many constitutional concepts.
