What a busy week.
Local news -- the Broward Marshal who was involved in the drug ripoff in California got 10 years. (via Paula McMahon).
And this guy really really had to go. (via Daily Commercial).
That marshal was a good guy. He was also very decent in court to the parties and clients. I once saw him gently take down a defendant who was trying to fight after a guilty verdict. Any state office would have beat the crap out of the defendant, this marshal was incredibly cool and careful not to escalate the situation. I am really sorry this happened and wish him the best.
