No specific allegations were made about the extent or nature of his sexual activities. For all you know he was sleeping with a willing 17 year old. While certainly illegal, it is a far cry from molesting a prepubescent.
Why am I not surprised a Pine Crest coach arrested for abusing children? That dump of an institution continually hires alcoholics, child abusers, and generally otherwise unemployable losers, fired from other schools. How about the disabled teacher who, about three years ago, after finally getting fired from Pine Crest after years of complaints from parents and students, went on to another school and was arrested for stabbing a child's desk with a knife? I had a child there, but we left after incidents with three teachers and coaches -- one of them is still there. The place is propped up by parents who turn the other way rather than admit they're stupid for paying that kind of money for crap teachers and coaches. Let the place rot, and the swim ooaches with it.
Poor Robert. What a way to screw up. He is a hell of a nice guy that has just seriously dropped the ball.
ReplyDeleteDavid,
ReplyDeleteI need a ruling. Is the term "Dropping the ball" broad enough to cover the molestation of minors? Thanks.
