D. Roy Atchison, 53, was arrested on Sept. 16 leaving a plane in Detroit as part of an Internet sting operation led by the sheriff’s department in Macomb County, Mich.<BR/><BR/>The authorities said he had been chatting online for two weeks with an undercover detective who posed as a mother offering to let men have sex with her young daughter…."<BR/><BR/>I can think of no tougher situation than loosing a client in prison from a suicide – prior to any finding of guilt. What do you guys think? Does the fact that the charges were so serious in this matter discount the loss of this man’s life? What about when compared with the good things that he accomplished? How does this affect any prosecutions he participated in during his tenure with the Pensacola US Attorney’s Office?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
