Huge win for Diddy

Now the judge has the tough part on sentencing.  What do you get if the jury acquits you of all the major counts and convicts on the one minor count.  It should be credit time served... we shall see.  In the meantime, who is buying this shirt?

This will be a good test of sentencing guidelines now that the sentencing commission altered guidance on using acquitted conduct to seek enhancements.
Time served and probation would be appropriate, but unlikely.

Was the RICO charge just a money-grab?

3-5 yr range.

A gross abuse of the RICO statute. Should have been tried in state court.

When there is a several month trial and the defense puts on no evidence and no witnesses and the jury is only out a few hours and obtains a verdict demonstrates the government did not prove their case. I was shocked by all the "legal experts" on TV claiming the jury was going to convict on the major stuff. You don't have to be a good jail house lawyer like me to have read those tea leaves.

DOGE should strongly look into this waste of resources
