Jason Dimitris named county court judge.
He's a former AUSA.

Actually, what really qualifies him is that he is a former Assistant State Attorney, meaning he has practical experience and a soul. Two very important things for a Judge to hold. Absent a certification from the good lord, I would hesitate to assume the both about all AUSAs.

Judge Cooke is a former AUSA - she qualifies as having practical experience and a soul...big time!
I dealt with Dimitris when he was an AUSA. Very decent.
