Matthew Menchel leaving U.S. Attorney's Office
That's a big loss for the office. He was the chief of criminal division and a very skilled trial lawyer. He's headed to a firm with offices in New York and soon to be in Miami... Good luck to Menchel. Now the question is -- who will be named chief of criminal?

David:
Why don't you put your name in?
Just to nip things in the bud, I am not available as I have a disorderly conduct trial coming up in Hialeah Branch Court in September.
But hopefully Alberto Gonzales will be looking for a job soon.
HR, you talkng to yourself again? DM
2:17: you think they'd hire me?
David Weinstein or Bob Senior
How about Tom Hagen or Mickey Goldmill?
Hagen is out. He is not a war time consigliare.
Judge Mills Lane and Judge Dredd should both be considered - their judicial experience could bring valuable insights to the job.
What about Andrew Lourie? Does he have a shot?
No, Andrew, you don't.
What firm did Matt go to?
