The state of Virginia has just passed legislation to ban anticipated health care mandates that could be imposed on its citizens. Thirty-four other states have similar legislation pending. This matter is definitely headed to the U.S. Supreme Court if the federal health care bill passes. What do people think about this? Is the U.S. Congress overreaching in an unprecedented display of power at the behest of the Obama administration or are the states just plain wrong? If the health care bill passes, can the high court decide to just strike the mandates portion of the bill or would the entire bill fail as unconstitutional? When would the U.S. Supreme Court decide the issue?Robyn Blakenoreply@blogger.com
